Mr. Schmidt admires Italian sports cars and is the proud owner of a classic, bright yellow Lamborghini Murcielago. Needing to protect his prized possession from the ravages of Maryland weather, the Schmidts commissioned Arch Tech to design a building to house the vehicle. Arch Tech designed a garage for the rear of their corner lot with access from the side street rather than the front. Designed to match the home, the single-story garage features a gable roof with dormer windows and double hung windows with shutters. It also offers usable overhead space for storage, accessible by a retractable folding stair. An automatic garage door and an automatic sliding gate are both equipped for remote operation.
Despite the limited lot space, Arch Tech was able to deliver a functional, attractive garage space that fit in with the look of both the house and the neighborhood.
