Arch Tech was commissioned to design an expansion of both the serving and dining areas of the employee café in MedImmune’s new headquarters building. Specifically, Arch Tech was tasked with designing a larger serving area and converting an adjacent unused open office space into additional dining, while maintaining the high-end details and finishes of the existing space. The renovated café features black granite and white terrazzo floors, carpet tiles, coffered ceilings and three different types of lighting fixtures including spot lights, track lights and down lights.
Original design elements were incorporated to provide a seamless integration of the new renovations with the existing Café. The Café remained fully operational during the renovations.
