Arch Tech designed a 7,900 GSF expansion of the existing warehouse, with hi-bay rack storage, a walk-in refrigerator and a walk-in freezer (both with rack storage). Scope included a temporary loading dock structure to serve the existing warehouse during construction of the expansion. Construction consisted of a flat concrete slab, load bearing masonry exterior walls and steel framed roof structure. The existing main plant building is tilt-up concrete panels with an exposed aggregate finish; the addition’s exterior is split-faced masonry with decorative red smooth faced masonry bands to integrate the expansion with the aesthetic look of an adjacent building.
