Arch Tech updated a four-year-old facility master plan for this contract pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in southwest Baltimore. In several meetings with plant management we developed a program of current and future space needs and a phased implementation over a 10-year horizon. The master plan update included planning for expansion and/or relocation of office space, laboratories, manufacturing space, warehouse and utilities as well as planned parking expansion to comply with zoning requirements. Arch Tech investigated local zoning and building codes and assessed how these regulations would affect the planned expansions. Three phased concepts were developed for each level of the two story building.
